quip’s Summer of Service & Community

At quip, we believe good care and healthy habits go beyond the bathroom sink. They’re part of how you show up every day, from back-to-school and work to everything in between. This summer, we put that belief into action by supporting nonprofits that help people feel seen, cared for, and ready to be their best selves.

Here’s a look at the groups making a difference and how we pitched in.

Summer Stars 

Helping students find their voice

Since 2000, Summer Stars has helped thousands of underserved youths build confidence through the performing arts. At its 9-day camp, kids learn from the best — performers, counselors, and guest artists — while getting creative, developing new skills, and unlocking their potential.

It all leads to the big finale: a show where students put everything they’ve learned into action and get to experience what success feels like.

QUIP’S SUPPORT

From first rehearsal to final curtain, we equipped campers with fresh oral care for a spotlight-worthy smile.

My Why

Improving oral health in AR & SC

Founded in 2023 by a dental hygienist who saw firsthand the long-term effects of gaps in oral care, My Why makes better habits accessible to communities in need across Arkansas and South Carolina. Through workshops and school partnerships, they offer free dental kits and hands-on learning.

For families facing barriers to care, it’s a chance to get the knowledge and resources they need to make healthier choices.

For My Why’s Back-to-School Health Fair, we brought tools to make morning and bedtime care a bit more fun.

I Support The Girls

Making dignity the norm

ISTG has helped millions of girls and women experiencing homelessness, hardship, and disaster access the essentials they need since 2015. What started with a collection of bras and menstrual products has grown into a movement that’s donated more than 50 million products to date.

Because having the basics shouldn’t be a luxury. And feeling good about yourself shouldn’t be either.

The Ali Forney Center

Housing underserved LGBTQIA+

Founded in 2002, AFC provides LGBTQIA+ and at-risk young people experiencing homelessness with 24-hour housing, support, and a path forward. From a safe place to stay to job readiness and counseling, they give young people the stability and tools to build a life beyond the streets.

Having everyday needs covered can be one step toward a healthier, more independent future.

Hoboken Family Alliance

Empowering families & communities

For more than 25 years, HFA has brought neighbors together to strengthen the community and lend a hand to local families. They organize everything from food and school supply drives to domestic violence support and holiday giving, creating opportunities for people to care for one another.

Coming together means everyone has a little more to lean on.

Brooklyn Public Library

Spreading curiosity and love of reading

Since 1896, Brooklyn Public Library has helped make knowledge, resources, and opportunity accessible to all. Serving 2.5 million Brooklyn residents, BPL provides free programs, educational resources, and community services that help New Yorkers learn, connect, and thrive.

When access opens doors, everyone has more room to grow.

We rolled up our sleeves alongside BPL, building care kits stocked with oral care products for New Yorkers who need them most.
