The toothbrush stopped as I was still brushing. Then, a week after I had changed the brush head and battery, it quit all together. Save your money - by an electric toothbrush at the drug store instead.
I absolutely LOVE this toothbrush. Here's my problem with midrange-priced electric toothbrushes: I don't mind the cord or separate base, but after about a year, the manufacturers change the style of the heads, and then I can't find the one for the model I have anymore. The battery-operated ones are large, rough, and loud — it's like having a semi truck engine running in my mouth. And every time I have one of those when I'm staying at my dad's, I'm afraid he's going to think I'm in the bathroom with a vibrator! My Quip (copper, metal), however, is the perfect size with a smooth, quiet motor. I like the pauses every 30 seconds — I can count down how much longer I need to brush. I also find that I brush my teeth the full two minutes most of the time. And, with the subscription service, I don't have to worry that Quip is going to stop making heads that fit my handle. Honestly, I haven't found anything I DON'T like about this toothbrush! Continue reading
Just got my first exchange tip and it’s been a great 3 months with the brush so far. Love the small buzzes when it’s time to switch side!
Design is good, makes you brush longer, teeth feel cleaner after brushing.
I don’t mount it on the mirror. It looks silly. Just put it in the medicine cabinet with the tube of toothpaste. The clear plastic cover is a great way to keep it clean and great when I travel with it.
