The cover

The suction mount can seem magical but it isn't quite! please follow directions below and use with care to ensure you don't damage your quip when using it!

Environment

Select surfaces

The suction strip on cover will only adhere to perfectly flat/shiny/gloss mirror and glass. It will also work on some tiling, but only if guaranteed to be 100% smooth and without surface variance.

Ideal conditions

Like any suction based (or even sticky based) system, the surfaces you are attaching to must be 100% grime free (which can be tough to see by eye), completely dry and not be heated..

Sensibly placed

When used correctly, the cover will stick without a worry, but we can't account for every home environment! So we do recommend you try not to stick it too high above an uninterrupted drop onto a hard surface.

Setup

Peel carefully

The strip is covered by two layers of tape. The "peel me" should remove both, but double check it has by making sure the surface is matte, not gloss, in the light. Try not to touch the strip with fingers.

Stick and hold

Making sure you have read the "environmental" section above, press your cover against surface and press firmly for several seconds, rubbing up and down front surface for an even stick.

Slide, not drop!

The base of the cover is removable for cleaning purposes (see below!) and while it is designed to take every day use, please slide the brush in after use rather than dropping, to avoid it popping out!

Maintenance

Unstick carefully

If used as above, the cover will stick extremely well over time. If you are looking to travel, please peel off with care. We recommend gently rolling it from side to side and letting it gradually loosen and peel off.

Refresh strip

If your cover picks up lint or seems to have less suction, please apply clear tape to surface and peel off to remove. If this does not work, use soap and water to clean and leave to dry for 24 hours.

You may want to occasionally clean the inside of the cover from water / toothpaste build up. To do so, pop cap off with thumb, clean and click back in as per video below!

Your brush head is designed to be replaced once every 1-3 months, so we don't recommend removing it until then, but in case you have to replace it early, here's how!
